While I was working on one of my books today, my children decided to write their own. While my son’s concept piece has turned into a Young Adult chapter book and is far from completion, my daughter managed to write and illustrate hers completely. So, without further ado, here is my daughter’s first attempt at writing:
Baby Molly & the Case of the Missing Bear
Baby Molly has a favorite toy. Her favorite toy is a purple, stuffed bear named Madison.
Baby Molly takes Madison with her everywhere – to the store, to the park, and even to bed.
One morning, Baby Molly couldn’t find Madison. Where was Madison hiding? Had she left her at the store? Had she left her at the park? Had she left her in the crib? Baby Molly set out to find her precious bear.
